NUST LAW MOOT SOCIETY

Head of the Society:

Mr. Fazeel Hyder Chohan is a Lecturer at department of Law NUST. Mr Chohan teach criminal law, administrative law and international humanitarian law. Mr Chohan also worked as a defence attorney in different courts in Pakistan.Mr Chohan has moot court experience both national and international to his credit, that includes international criminal court Moot competition held at the Hague Netherlands, Nuremberg Moot court competition held at court room 600 Nuremberg Germany. Lately Mr Fazeel was selected to volunteer as a tutor in 39th edition of Jean-Pictet Competition.

The NUST Law Moot Society was formed to enhance students’ interest in mooting, to make them learn the complexities of legal research, to acquire a firm grasp on the use of online legal databases, to organise research into crisp and clear legal propositions on the issues presented in a moot proposition, and to culminate in a clinching argument in a moot court competition.
