Summer Course Update!

Department of law in collaboration with commercial law development program (CLDP) hosted a three-day summer course on international commercial arbitration from 19 -21 July.

Course was conducted by the support of Pakistan Vis alumni and led by expert course instructors from international law firm White & Case LLP and Moot court bench SriLanka.

It was our pleasure to host Law 49 students from:-

1. Bahria University, Islamabad.

2. International Islamic University, Islamabad.

3. Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi.

NUST department of law is determined to mainstream ADR generally and international commercial arbitration particularly !

We are pleased to announce our 7 member team for 30 Willem C. Vis international arbitration moot court competition. Our team will be traveling to Almaty for the training and as a build to the competition.

This week students from Department of LAW S3H attended a week long training on international commercial arbitration in Almaty Kazakhstan. Department of LAW and NUST LAW Mooting Society (NLMS) in partnership with United States Department of Commerce were invited through the initiative of Commercial LAW Development Program CLDP. A seven-member delegation headed by the faculty Mr. Fazeel Hyder Chohan found this training very helpful for the students as a build up for William C. Vis International Arbitration Moot Court Competition. Department of LAW S3H along with NLMS is determined and working to secure more opportunities for the LAW students.
