Miss Xiang Yang, is currently the Director, Chinese Study Center, NUST. Xiang Yang was born in a literary family in Confucius hometown, Shandong Province, in 1987. She represents the new young growing power of China 80s’ generation, which is leading the developing of China nowadays. With the solid education and knowledge background, Xiang Yang has ample experience in the field of economic, culture, education, policy and industry of CPEC. These are benefited from 8 years experience working in Pakistan as the chairman of St.Fulin Group, which is one of the earliest business groups working in CPEC 8 years back. Besides, she is also the distinguished consultant invited by People’s Government of Ningbo City, Yi Xing City, and universities of China.

Established in January 2016, the Center for Chinese Studies aims to offer multidisciplinary research of Chinese society and to prepare skilled resource that can aid both countries in bilateral national projects such as CPEC. The center offers language proficiency courses, workshops, seminars on UG, PG and PhD scholarship programs and jobs in Chinese Multinational Companies. The Department of S3H along with the center aim to bridges gaps and augment cooperation in education, culture and Information technology sectors of both China and Pakistan.
