11TH S3H CONVOCATION – 2024


Schedule

NUST School of Social Sciences & Humanities will hold Convocation at Jinnah Auditorium (Main Campus, Islamabad) as per following program:

  • Opening Session – already notified to nominated awardees
    • Convocation:   Monday, 28 October, 2024 (0830 hours/ Seating by 0900 hours)
    • Rehearsals:      Saturday, 26 October, 2024 (0830 hours)
  • School Session – award of BS/ MS Degrees & FYP awards
    • Convocation:   Friday, 01 November, 2024 (1400 hours)
    • Rehearsals:     Thursday, 31 October, 2024 (1640 hours)
Eligibility
  • 2K20 UG batches of BS Economics, BS Mass Comm, BPA & BS Psychology.
  • 2K22 PG batches of MS Economics, MS Mass Communication, MS Clinical Psychology, MS CC & E, MS Development Studies and MS GPP.
  • Ph.D graduates of the year 2023 – 24.
  • Left-over MS graduates of previous batches.
  • For the list of eligible graduates (click here).
  • The participants of Opening Session are not required to attend the school session.
Registration
  • Dates: Registration for Opening Session has been completed whereas for S3H session, it will remain open till 18 October 2024.
  • Online registration: For google form (click here), fill in/ submit as per instructions therein.
  • Registration Fee is Rs 5,000/- payable in HBL online or through challan (click here).
Guests
  • E-invitation is available online (click here). Fill in the print-out and get it signed/ stamped on rehearsals day for entry of guests.
  • Maximum guests per graduate are 02 for UG/ MS and 04 for Ph.D.
  • Guests below 12 years age are not allowed.
Instructions
  • The graduates must have qualified and completed clearance by 30 Sep.
  • Rehearsals are mandatory. Gowns will be issued & invitation cards signed on the day.
  • Gowns will be issued on cash deposit of Rs3,000/- (security & rent) as following:
    • Opening Session : 26 October, 2024 (Jinnah Auditorium)
    • School Sessions : 31 October, 2023 (S3H CR-1, 1200-1630 hours)
  • Late comers will not be allowed and doors will be closed 05 minutes before the event.
  • Hostel request, if so required, may be emailed at <[email protected]>.
  • Photograph counter will be set-up at the venue. For details, (click here).
  • Dress Code
    • Gents: Dark colour Lounge Suit with closed collars / National Dress.
    • Ladies: Decent dress of sober colour.
    • Proper dark colour shoes.
