Summary

With over 17 years of professional experience in the media industry, I have honed my skills in FM Radio, production houses, TV channels, and academia. As a practical course instructor in various universities for the past 7 years, I have imparted my knowledge to aspiring students. In 2009, I pursued a dedicated undergraduate program at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), focusing on MSc Media Communications with a specialization in Electronic Media. This program provided me with invaluable hands-on experience and theoretical insights. In 2017, I successfully completed my MS in Media Communication, where my research delved into the impact of media channels. Additionally, I undertook courses such as writing research proposals, studying media hegemony, and exploring marketing strategies, which significantly enhanced my writing, communication, and research skills. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with various commercial, community, and campus radio stations, assuming diverse roles such as voice-over artist, anchor, RJ, outdoor broadcaster, news anchor, producer, and programming manager since 2005. I have also had the privilege of receiving specialized training from international experts in radio training during disaster situations, including working with Mike Adams of First Response Radio in 2018 and Johnny Fisher in 2019. My areas of expertise encompass news writing, radio programming, voice-over, anchoring, and broadcast journalism.
