Faculty of NUST School of Social Sciences & Humanities (S3H) Publishes Book on COVID-19
-COVID-19 has altogether altered the dynamics of the world. It has not only brought colossal human suffering but also taken a huge toll on global, regional and national economies. However, the pandemic and the associated challenges have raised several grey areas for researchers to probe into and interpret for the good of the global community.
In these challenging times of pandemic, the combined efforts of the faculty of NUST School of Social Sciences & Humanities (S3H), who, despite several odds, have endeavoured to analyse the impact of COVID-19 on the socio-economic development of Pakistan.
The faculty who contributed to this book include Dr Ashfaque Hasan Khan, Dr Zafar Mahmood, Dr Ather Maqsood Ahmed, Ambassador (Retired) Syed Hasan Javed, Dr Salma Siddiqui, Dr. Najma Sadiq, Dr Waqas Ejaz, Ms Maheen Zahra, Ms Fatimah Mahmood and Engineer Erum Aamir, and the editor of this book is Dr Farah Naz. The findings of this book will help not only the Government of Pakistan but also other countries in the region and beyond in policymaking with regard to addressing challenges posed by COVID-19.
