Educational Exposure Visit (2023) – Department of Development Studies
-Students of MS Development Studies (Batch 2K22) along with the students of MS Career Counselling and MS Clinical Psychology (Batch 2K20) visited Pakistan Sweet Home Orphanage in Islamabad on May 4, 2023. The purpose of the visit was to grasp theoretical concepts being studied in their course “Theories and Models in Social Work" taught by Dr. Muhammad Ammad Khan, Assistant Professor, Development Studies. The focus of the visit was to:
– explore the role of Pakistan Sweet Home in supporting and empowering orphans in Pakistan;
– build NUST students' relationships with the different stakeholders; and
– provide interactive sessions so that students open up to working in this field of social work across Pakistan for their research as well as future ventures.
